Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

Flood Warning for the following rivers in Texas...
Brazos River at US 59, Sugar Land, TX affecting Fort Bend County.

Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Brazos River at US 59, Sugar Land, TX.
* WHEN...From late tonight until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 65.5 feet, Minor lowland flooding begins as water
escapes the main channel below the gauge. Baudet Road southeast of
Richmond is threatened. Livestock operations near Thompsons are
affected and precautions should be taken to protect cattle
including potential relocation in low-lying areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:01 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 64.0 feet.
- Bankfull Stage is 40.0 feet
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
just after midnight tonight and continue rising to a crest of
67.3 feet early Saturday morning.
- Flood stage is 65.5 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
65.5 feet on 06/06/2021.
