If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
Periods of moderate snowfall will affect locations around the cities of Ennis and Bozeman into the early afternoon hours. Visibility will be reduced to less than a half mile at times. Most of the snow will melt on lower elevation roadways, but another inch or two is possible on grassy areas. If traveling, snowfall will continue to accumulate at times on higher elevation passes such as Norris Hill on Highway 287 and Bozeman Pass on Interstate 15.
