Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of east Tennessee, including the following
counties, Blount, Cocke, Grainger, Greene, Hamblen, Jefferson,
Knox, Sevier, Unicoi and Washington.
* WHEN...Until 1015 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 613 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated rain will continue
over the area this morning. Although the rain is not expected
to be heavy, soils are moist from recent rains, and most of
the rain that falls this morning will become runoff.
Therefore minor flooding is possible in the advisory area.

Knoxville, Morristown, Maryville, Greeneville, Sevierville,
Alcoa, Jefferson City, Newport, Erwin, Gatlinburg, Dandridge,
Pigeon Forge, Tusculum, White Pine, New Market, Rockford,
Baneberry, Parrottsville, Russellville and Eagleton Village.
