At 852 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of thunderstorms along a cold front extending from near Jacksonville to Watha, Atkinson, Carvers, and Whiteville. Movement was southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Burgaw, Tabor City, Bethel, Lake Waccamaw, Northwest, Sandyfield, Makatoka, Point Caswell, Maple Hill, Hallsboro, Long Creek, Exum, Currie, Honey Island, Malpass Corner, and Clarendon. This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 393 and 412.
