A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
western Texas.
At 308 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 17
miles northeast of Jal Airport, or 17 miles southeast of Eunice. This
thunderstorm was nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
