The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Louisiana... Bayou Des Cannes Near Eunice For the Bayou Des Cannes...including Eunice...Moderate flooding is forecast. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. The next statement will be issued Saturday morning at 1015 AM CDT. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Bayou Des Cannes near Eunice. * WHEN...Until Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 19.8 feet, IT IS ESTIMATED THAT 18 STRUCTURES NEAR THE BAYOU WILL BE FLOODED. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:15 AM CDT Friday the stage was 16.7 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:15 AM CDT Friday was 16.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.5 feet early tomorrow afternoon.
