* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following counties, Columbia, Dauphin, Lebanon, Montour, Northumberland, Schuylkill, Snyder and Union. * WHEN...Until 1030 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 728 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated rain heavy at times due to thunderstorms continuing through the prime morning commute hours. This is causing urban and small stream flooding. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen over the past several hours. - Additional rainfall up to 0.5 inch is expected over the area. This additional rain will continue minor flooding impacts in some areas. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Harrisburg, Lebanon, Bloomsburg, Pottsville, Hershey, Colonial Park, Elizabethtown, Berwick, Sunbury, Progress, Middletown, Shamokin, Palmyra, Tamaqua, Milton, Linglestown, Steelton, Mount Carmel, Lewisburg and Selinsgrove. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
