The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Indiana...
Yellow River at Plymouth affecting St. Joseph, Starke and
Marshall Counties.
For the Yellow River...including Plymouth, Knox...Moderate flooding
is forecast.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Yellow River at Plymouth.
* WHEN...From this evening to late Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, A small trailer park near the Jefferson
Street bridge begins to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 AM EDT Wednesday /7:45 AM CDT Wednesday/ the stage
was 8.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this evening to a crest of 14.2 feet early tomorrow
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late Friday
morning.
- Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
14.2 feet on 03/06/1979.
