deaths occur in vehicles.
The Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC) has issued a Tropical Cyclone
Formation Alert (TCFA) for Invest 94W, meaning development into a
tropical cyclone is likely within 24 hours, but Invest 94W continues
to move away from Chuuk State and is now northeast of Fais Island in
Yap State, near 10.3N 143.1E. Recent satellite imagery shows showers
are subsiding across Chuuk State as drier weather spreads across the
State. The threat for gusty winds has diminished.
