This is a life threatening situation. Heavy rainfall will cause extensive and severe flash flooding of creeks...streams...and ditches in the Airport Burn Scar. Severe debris flows can also be anticipated across roads. Roads and driveways may be washed away in places. If you encounter flood waters...climb to safety.
A shallow layer of moisture and light winds will hold some areas of dense fog over the Coastal Prairies this morning. Most visibilities will be around 1/2 mile, but a some pockets of 1/8 to 1/4 mile visibilities area possible. The fog should gradually lift as winds begin to pick up by 9 AM. Motorists should use extra caution and slow down in areas where the visibility changes rapidly.
