.Moderate to major flooding remains forecast along the Ohio River
from Owensboro downstream to Golconda. Water levels continue to
rise, with crests expected this weekend into early next week.
For the Ohio River...including Owensboro, Newburgh Dam, Evansville,
Henderson, Mount Vernon, J.T. Myers Dam, Shawneetown, Golconda...
Moderate to Major flooding is forecast.

- At 6:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 45.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 48.8
feet early Sunday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
48.5 feet on 01/26/1907.
