Buttahatchie River near Aberdeen For the Buttahatchie River...including Aberdeen...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Buttahatchie River near Aberdeen. * WHEN...Until late this evening. * IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Lowland near the river is flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 13.3 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:30 AM CDT Sunday was 14.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late this afternoon and continue falling to 9.7 feet Friday morning. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
