southeastern Texas.
At 306 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
New Waverly, or 9 miles northwest of Willis, moving northeast at 25
mph. This storm has a history of producing dime size hail.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Southeastern Huntsville, New Waverly, and Huntsville State Park.
