* WHERE...Central Laurens County, South Carolina
* WHEN...Until 930 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Nuisance flooding of low-lying areas adjacent to streams

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 701 AM EDT, heavy rain responsible for flash flooding has
ended across Laurens County.
The majority of streams have receded from earlier flash
flooding, however the Little River streamgauge at Gordon St
in Laurens remains above the Action/Advisory Stage of 7.0
feet. At these levels, the lower elevations of Little River
Park are flooding. Additional areas of isolated nuisance
flooding are possible along Little River from Laurens and
points downstream near Mountville. Therefore, the Flash
Flood Warning has been replaced by a Flood Advisory, which
will remain in effect until the Little River falls back below
Action/Advisory Stage.
- Some locations that may continue to experience nuisance
flooding include...
Laurens and Mountville.
