The National Weather Service in Wakefield VA has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Virginia...
James River At Cartersville affecting Goochland, Powhatan and
Cumberland Counties.
James River At Richmond Locks affecting Henrico and City of
Richmond County.
For the Lower James Basin...including Richmond Locks, Richmond
Westham, Cartersville...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...James River at Richmond Locks.
* WHEN...From late tonight to Friday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Rocketts Landing Park and the Virginia
Capital Trail begin to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:54 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 0.9 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage just after
midnight tonight to 10.6 feet tomorrow afternoon. It will
fall below flood stage midday Friday falling to 3.5 feet
early Saturday morning.
