Tidal fluctuations will likely be overcome by freshwater flooding, with an extended period of moderate flooding forecast at Georgetown. * IMPACTS...The Washington Harbour boardwalk will be covered. Low lying areas near Fletcher's Boathouse will be flooded. More than a third of Roosevelt Island will be inundated. Rock Creek will experience backwater flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides between one half foot and one foot above normal. The next two high tides are 10:24 AM and 11:10 PM.
