James River At Richmond Locks affecting City of Richmond and
Henrico County.
James River At Richmond Westham affecting City of Richmond,
Henrico and Chesterfield Counties.
For the Lower James Basin...including Richmond Locks, Richmond
Westham...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...James River at Richmond Locks.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, The Ancarrow's Boat Landing is closed at
this level.
At 11.0 feet, Rocketts Landing Park and the Virginia Capital Trail
begin to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:54 AM EDT Friday the stage was 10.4 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:54 AM EDT Friday was 11.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
this evening and continue falling to 4.2 feet Saturday
morning.
