At 459 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Shenandoah, or near Denham Springs. This thunderstorm was nearly stationary. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Westminster, Old Jefferson, Baton Rouge, Merrydale, Inniswold, Shenandoah, Denham Springs, Village St. George, Oak Hills Place, Walker, and Brownfields. This includes the following Interstates... Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 158 and 167. Interstate 12 between mile markers 1 and 15.
