* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of southeast South Carolina, including the following counties, Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester. * WHEN...Until 630 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 556 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers and thunderstorms with torrential rainfall extending from Summerville and Cooke Crossroads east to Goose Creek. These storms are slow moving and have already dropped as much as 1 to 3 inches of rain. An additional inch could fall through 630 PM, resulting in minor flooding of urban and poor drainage areas. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... North Charleston, Summerville, Goose Creek, Hanahan, Ladson, Naval Weapons Station Charleston, Crowfield Plantation, College Park, Sangaree and Lincolnville.
