* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall has been reported by the public and is expected to continue. * WHERE...A portion of east central New York, including the following county, Columbia. * WHEN...Until 115 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1005 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen over the past six hours. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Hudson, Chatham, Claverack, Coxsackie, New Lebanon, Valatie, Athens, Austerlitz, Philmont, Kinderhook, Claverack-Red Mills, Lorenz Park, Ghent, Stockport, Stuyvesant, Hillsdale, Canaan, Taghkanic, Arnolds Mill and Buckleyville. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
