deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall has been reported by the public and is expected to
continue.
* WHERE...A portion of east central New York, including the
following county, Columbia.
* WHEN...Until 115 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Overflowing poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1005 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. This will
cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 1.5
inches of rain have fallen over the past six hours.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

Hudson, Chatham, Claverack, Coxsackie, New Lebanon, Valatie,
Athens, Austerlitz, Philmont, Kinderhook, Claverack-Red
Mills, Lorenz Park, Ghent, Stockport, Stuyvesant, Hillsdale,
Canaan, Taghkanic, Arnolds Mill and Buckleyville.
