* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of northern New Jersey, including the following county, Somerset. * WHEN...Until 100 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1019 AM EDT, gauge reports indicated an area of very heavy rainfall across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - For Raritan River at Manville: At 9:15am the stage was 9.62 feet. Flood Stage is 14 feet. For North Branch Raritan River at Raritan: At 10:00am the stage was 8.47 feet. Flood Stage is 10 feet. For North Branch Raritan River at South Branch: At 10:00am the stage was 8.06 feet. Flood Stage is 8 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
