Warning for the following rivers in Kansas...
Pottawatomie Creek near Garnett affecting Anderson County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Pottawatomie Creek near Garnett.
* WHEN...From this afternoon to late tomorrow evening.
* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Flood waters overflow the north bank and
flood cultivated fields north of the creek.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:46 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 9.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this afternoon to a crest of 28.2 feet just after
midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage
tomorrow afternoon.
- Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
