Warning for the following rivers in Kansas...
Neosho River at Iola affecting Allen County.
Neosho River near Chanute affecting Neosho and Allen Counties.
Neosho River near Erie affecting Neosho County.
Neosho River near Parsons affecting Neosho and Labette Counties.
Neosho River at Oswego affecting Labette and Cherokee Counties.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Neosho River near Erie.
* WHEN...From late Wednesday night to Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 29.0 feet, Expect flooding of lowlands along the
vicinity of the river.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 15.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Thursday morning to a crest of 30.4 feet early Thursday
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Thursday
evening.
- Flood stage is 29.0 feet.
