* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of Central, South Central, and Southeast Kansas, including the following counties, in Central Kansas, Chase and Marion. In South Central Kansas, Butler and Sedgwick. In Southeast Kansas, Allen, Greenwood and Woodson. * WHEN...Until 900 AM CDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1049 PM CDT, Flooding is ongoing across the warned area due to runoff from heavier rainfall earlier on Tuesday - This flood warning will replace the multiple flood warnings over several counties that will expire at 11 PM. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Wichita, Derby, El Dorado, Andover, Haysville, Augusta, Park City, Valley Center, Bel Aire, Iola, Goddard, Rose Hill, Maize, Eureka, Humboldt, Douglass, Towanda, Yates Center, Colwich and Peabody.
