Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't
drown.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Cottonwood River near Plymouth affecting Chase and Lyon Counties.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.
* WHERE...Cottonwood River near Plymouth.
* WHEN...Until late this evening.
* IMPACTS...At 33.0 feet, More sections along Road A floods
especially at the low water crossings.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 32.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late this morning and continue falling to 10.5 feet Wednesday
morning.
- Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
