Youngs Creek at Amity. .Rainfall amounts of 1.5 to over 2 inches over southern Johnson county will lead to minor flooding on Youngs Creek which should last through the day today and into tonight. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Youngs Creek at Amity. * WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight. * IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, Youngs Creek at flood stage. Most low areas along creek are flooded. Approaches to CR 400S bridge over Youngs Creek begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 AM EDT Monday the stage was 5.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this morning to a crest of 7.7 feet this afternoon.
