Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
counties, Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe and Hays.
* WHEN...Until 430 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Dangerous flows over low-water crossings.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1209 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

San Antonio, Austin, New Braunfels, Schertz, Cibolo,
Converse, Universal City, Live Oak, Selma, Dripping Springs,
Wimberley, Canyon Lake Dam, Randolph AFB, San Antonio Int
Airport, Canyon Lake, Alamo Heights, Windcrest, Terrell
Hills, Bulverde and Garden Ridge.
