At 1151 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles northeast of Denver to 4 miles northeast of Waterloo Municipal Airport to 5 miles west of Uni-Dome And McLeod Center. Movement was southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Waterloo, Cedar Falls, Waverly, Evansdale, Jesup, La Porte City, Hudson, Denver, Elk Run Heights, Waterloo Municipal Airport, Crossroads Mall, Uni-Dome And McLeod Center, Janesville, Washburn, Dunkerton, Readlyn, Raymond, Gilbertville, New Hartford, and George Wyth State Park. This includes Interstate 380 between mile markers 56 and 73.
