At 1128 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Greenwood, or 15 miles southwest of Shreveport, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Shreveport, Bossier City, Greenwood, Blanchard, Waskom, Benton, Elysian Fields, Fosters, Eastwood, Ferguson, Spring Ridge, Taylortown, Cross Lake, Bodcau, Barksdale Air Force Base, Keithville, Robson, Forbing, Sligo, and Red Chute.
