Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
counties, Bexar, Guadalupe and Wilson.
* WHEN...Until 100 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. River and stream flows
are elevated.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 951 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause
urban and small stream flooding. Between 3 and 7 inches of
rain have fallen over the last several hours.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

San Antonio, Schertz, Cibolo, Converse, Universal City, Live
Oak, Selma, Randolph AFB, San Antonio Int Airport, Stinson
Municipal Airport, Kirby, Alamo Heights, Windcrest, Terrell
Hills, Hollywood Park, Olmos Park, St. Hedwig, Elmendorf, La
Vernia and China Grove.
