A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for
central South Dakota.
At 145 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers along a line
extending from 6 miles north of Wendte to 12 miles northwest of
Ideal. Movement was east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Pierre, Fort Pierre, Presho, Kennebec, Vivian, Draper, Fate Dam,
Rousseau, Wendte, 5 Mile Corner, Earling Hill, Lake Sharpe, and
northwestern Lower Brule Reservation.
