Oklahoma...
Cimarron River near Ripley affecting Payne County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Cimarron River near Ripley.
* WHEN...Until this evening.
* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Places along the Cimarron River valley in
Payne County are briefly flooded. Agricultural lands and oil wells
located near the channel are isolated by water in cutoff channels
along the river valley.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 3:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 17.4 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet.
- Forecast...The Cimarron River is expected to fall below flood
stage this afternoon and continue falling.
- Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
