* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following areas, Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Cameron, Clearfield, Elk, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Mifflin, Northern Centre, Northern Clinton, Somerset, Southern Centre and Southern Clinton. * WHEN...From 11 AM EDT this morning through this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain rates exceeding 1 inch per hour are likely this afternoon and evening within an extremely moist environment for mid June. Storms may repeat or train over the same areas in complex terrain where recent rainfall has resulted in very high soil sensitivity.
