The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana... Wabash River at Montezuma. Wildcat Creek near Lafayette. .Minor flooding will continue along the Wabash River at Montezuma and Wildcat Creek near Lafayette through the rest of today. Wildcat Creek should fall below flood stage overnight and the Wabash at Montezuma should fall below flood stage Wednesday morning. Additional rainfall Wednesday could bring additional river rises later in the week. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wildcat Creek near Lafayette. * WHEN...Until tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Flooding of lowland areas in progress in portions of Tippecanoe County. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:45 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 11.2 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:45 AM EDT Tuesday was 13.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight and continue falling and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
