At 1002 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over Clover, or 14 miles southwest of Whitesburg, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Pikeville, Whitesburg, Letcher, Cumberland, Jenkins, Elkhorn City, Fleming-Neon, Lynch, Benham, Blackey, Leatherwood, Van, Colly, Louellen, Premium, Garden Village, Sergent, Gilley, Clutts, and Adamson.
