Surface observations and local weather webcams indicate areas of dense fog have developed across northern Door County, including Washington Island. If traveling early this morning over Door County, especially north of Sturgeon Bay, expect sharply reduced visibility down to less than one-half mile at times. If you encounter fog, increase following distance and be sure to use low- beam setting on your headlights.
