At 1012 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 8 miles east of Peebles to 7 miles west of Camp Dix, moving northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Portsmouth, New Boston, Peebles, Vanceburg, Head of Grassy, Rosemount, Clarktown, Camp Dix, Rome, Lucasville, Blue Creek, Rarden, Otway, Saint Paul, Kinniconick, Locust Grove, Charters, Friendship, Mcdermott, and Petersville. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for northeastern Kentucky...and south central Ohio.
