The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Mississippi...Louisiana... Pearl River Near Bogalusa affecting Washington Parish and Pearl River County. Pearl River Near Pearl River affecting Pearl River and Hancock Counties and St. Tammany Parish. For the Lower Pearl River...including Bogalusa, Pearl River...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Pearl River near Bogalusa. * WHEN...Until late Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...At 18.5 feet, Woodlands and crop acreage along the river will be flooded. The Bogue Chitto Wildlife Management area will be inundated with water in recreational camps and over access roads. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 19.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Saturday morning and continue falling to 12.3 feet Sunday, June 29. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
