The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Kansas... Ninnescah River near Belle Plaine affecting Sumner County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE...Ninnescah River near Belle Plaine. * WHEN...Until this evening. * IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Three miles west of Belle Plaine near the gage site, a small section of K55 floods east of the bridge. Flood waters flow over Highway 81 starting at 1/2 mile north of K55 and spreading to 100th Avenue. The water on Highway 81 may be near 1.5 ft deep. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:41 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 24.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 10.6 feet early Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
