At 751 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles east of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore to M-94 between Steuben and Manistique. Movement was northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Newberry, Grand Marais, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, McMillan, Germfask, Seney, M-94 between Steuben and Manistique, Grand Sable Dunes, Manistique Lake, Blaney Park, M-28 between Shingleton and Seney, Muskallonge State Park, Cusino Lake, Beaver Lake, Pine Stump Junction, Helmer, Deer Park, Soo Junction, Four Mile Corner, and Dollarville.
