Walnut Creek at Clive I-80/35 affecting Polk and Dallas Counties.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...The Walnut Creek at Clive I-80/35, or from Little Walnut
Creek to the North Walnut Creek.
* WHEN...Until late this evening.
* IMPACTS...At 13.1 feet, Residential evacuations occur along the
lower elevations of 75th St...78th St...and 80th St.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:58 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 6.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
this morning to a crest around 13 feet late this morning. It
will then fall below flood stage late this afternoon.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
