Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...
Sabine River Near Mineola affecting Smith and Wood Counties.
For the Sabine River...including Mineola, Hawkins, Gladewater,
Longview, Beckville, Logansport...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Sabine River near Mineola.
* WHEN...Until Friday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Expect flooding of low river bottoms with
secondary roadways along with picnic and recreational areas
becoming inundated as well. Ranchers should move cattle and
equipment to higher ground.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:15 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 15.3 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:15 AM CDT Wednesday was 15.8 feet.
- Forecast...The Sabine River south of Mineola is expected to
fall below the 14 foot flood stage tomorrow evening and
continue falling to 11.5 feet Monday morning.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
15.5 feet on 01/21/2017.
