* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of northwest Florida, including the following counties, Okaloosa and Santa Rosa. * WHEN...Until 845 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban areas is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 640 AM CDT, Doppler radar and nearby rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen in a very short period of time. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Wright, Fort Walton Beach, Niceville, Destin, Eglin AFB, Valparaiso, Mary Esther, Ocean City, Lake Lorraine, Navarre, Shalimar, Cinco Bayou, Navarre Beach, Longwood, Eglin Village, Wynnehaven Beach, Postil, Harper, Seminole and Holley.
