At 510 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles northeast of Philippi to 10 miles southeast of Elkins. Movement was northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Montrose, Harman, Pheasant Run, Bowden, Kerens, Dryfork, Glady, and Nestorville.
