The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...
Trinity River at Liberty affecting Liberty County.
Trinity River near Moss Bluff affecting Liberty and Chambers
Counties.
For the Trinity River...including Moss Bluff, Liberty...Minor
flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.
* WHERE...Trinity River at Liberty.
* WHEN...Until late this evening.
* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding begins and
significant lowland flooding in the vicinity of the gage can be
expected as roads into some outlying communities above the gage
begin to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 26.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 21.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:15 AM CDT Tuesday was 27.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late this morning and continue falling to 16.5 feet Sunday
morning.
- Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
26.3 feet on 05/18/1994.
