Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of northwest Texas, including the following
county, Lubbock.
* WHEN...Until 900 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 805 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated brief heavy rain. This will cause urban and small
stream flooding. Up to 0.3 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

Lubbock, Wolfforth, Ransom Canyon, Downtown Lubbock, Texas
Tech University, Lubbock South Plains Mall, Woodrow, Lubbock
International Airport, Slide and Buffalo Springs.
