At 944 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a region of scattered strong thunderstorms extending from over Chisago City to 8 miles south of Augusta, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Eau Claire, Menomonie, Forest Lake, Chippewa Falls, Hugo, New Richmond, Altoona, Lake Hallie, Chisago City, Lindstrom, Scandia, Amery, Lake Wissota, Somerset, Osceola, St. Croix Falls, Baldwin, Hammond, Roberts and Augusta.
