Piers may be heavily swamped by waves. * WHERE...Mason, Oceana and Muskegon counties. * WHEN...From Saturday afternoon through Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...Strong currents can pull swimmers into deeper water and high waves can sweep people off piers. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Pere Marquette Park Beach will be especially hazardous on Saturday afternoon, and then will switch to Stearns Park, Mears State Park, and Muskegon State Park on Sunday as winds change to the NW.
