A Flood Advisory means minor flooding along waterways and other poor
drainage areas is imminent or may already be occurring. Persons in
the advisory area should use caution and avoid flood waters.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of east central Illinois, including the following
county, eastern Iroquois and in northwest Indiana, including the
following counties, southern Jasper and southern Newton.
* WHEN...Until 1100 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Roads
and streets may be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 902 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms
producing torrential rainfall.
- Thunderstorms with torrential rainfall have already resulted
in around an inch of rain between 825 pm and 855 pm near
Sheldon Illinois. These thunderstorms will continue to
produce torrential rainfall as they move slowly across
southern Newton and southern Jasper Counties. Rainfall totals
of up to 2 inches is possible through 10 pm across the
advisory area. This will result in minor flooding of low
lying and flood prone areas.

Watseka, Kentland, Remington, Sheldon, Goodland, Brook,
Collegeville, Woodland, Iroquois and Foresman.
