For the San Saba River...including Menard, San Saba...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...San Saba River at San Saba. * WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding will occur. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 13.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 24.6 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage late this evening. - Flood stage is 24.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 24.5 feet on 06/19/1961. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
