Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

For the San Saba River...including Menard, San Saba...Minor flooding
is forecast.

* WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning.
* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding will occur.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 13.1 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this afternoon to a crest of 24.6 feet this evening. It
will then fall below flood stage late this evening.
- Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
24.5 feet on 06/19/1961.
